About Tierra:

With a background in teaching Middle School Health and Physical Education, as well as Pre-Kindergarten, I have always been passionate about nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning. My dedication to education and child development drives me to create engaging and enriching experiences for children through The Starz Program.

During my free time, you'll often find me hanging outdoors with my family, soaking in the sunshine and exploring nature's wonders. I also enjoy attending concerts and cheering on our beloved Panthers football team, creating cherished memories with loved ones.

Tierra’s Experience Being a Starz Program Franchise Owner:

As a passionate educator, The Starz Program caught my attention with its unique blend of teaching and flexibility. It offered me the opportunity to pursue my love for teaching while providing the flexibility to balance work and family life. Being able to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while still having time to enjoy my favorite activities was a dream come true.

A typical week as a Starz Franchise owner involves a blend of administrative tasks and hands-on teaching. I start my day by checking emails and connecting with my coaches to address any questions or concerns about curriculum or equipment. Throughout the week, I shadow or cover classes, ensuring that every session runs smoothly and provides a positive experience for the children. I also dedicate time to reaching out to potential new schools, sharing the benefits of The Starz Program and building partnerships within the community.

One of my favorite memories as a Starz Franchise owner is witnessing the joy and pride on the faces of families and children during our end-of-year performances. Seeing how our program has positively impacted their lives fills my heart with gratitude and fulfillment. Another memorable moment was in my second year of owning the territory when schools started reaching out to offer classes at their locations. It was a testament to the reputation and success of The Starz Program, and it was incredibly rewarding to see our program's growth and recognition within the community.

Overall, being a part of The Starz Program has been an incredibly rewarding journey, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children while pursuing my passion for teaching and spending quality time with my family.
